In Habakkuk 1:5, the Lord says, “Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your day, you would not believe if you were told.” God is always working to extend the message of His salvation to the ends of the earth. Graciously, He has allowed Tri Point Church of God in Mio, MI to participate with Him in this mission. We have been a solid presence in overseas and local missions for years, and now it is expanding its reach into new areas around the world and providing new ways for us to get involved. If you have any questions about missions or would like more information, including opportunities to donate to any project, contact Diane Maier, Director of Missions -Email: Click Here.

Marcus & Arianna- CRU
Hello! We're Marcus and Arianna, we're on staff with Cru on the Metro Detroit team. Our team exists to help college students know and follow Jesus. We have a passion to see college students become Christ centered laborers as they graduate and form careers and families in the city and world. Detroit Cru is currently on 9 of Detroit's 30 college campuses, and sends students and staff to West Asia and Central America to share the gospel with other college students as well. We joined staff in 2016, have two wonderful sons, and are eager to see individuals, families, and churches formed for Christ from the college campuses of Detroit.

Steve & Aime- (Global missionaries with Beyond)
Steve & Amie are experienced mission leaders with BEYOND. They serve in South Asia with a vision to catalyze a Church Planting Movement (CPM) among the 18 million Isaan Buddhist. They train nationals to disciple and plant reproducing churches.
Malachi 1:11 “My Name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my Name because my Name will be great among the nations says the Lord.”
Steve & Amie believe that promise for the Isaan. Since 2016, they cast the CPM vision with seven area pastors who then raised ministry teams in their towns. The teams share Jesus face to face and started over 10 discipleship groups of new believers. They have coached a new believer in their village who shared his faith with friends and family, resulting in a house church of 29 new baptized believers. Amie is a prayer trainer and produced the Isaan prayer guide which has been translated into multiple languages.

TIGRAY REGION- ETHIOPIA
Since Fall of 2020 the people of the Northern Tigray Region have been in a ‘civil dispute’ with the Ethiopian government. Thousands have been killed, raped and maimed. There are reports that hundreds of thousands are displaced and millions in danger of starvation. The BBC terms this a ‘Genocidal War’. Tri Point is providing funding through our Ethiopian contacts, to assist with food and crisis relief. Our funds will be distributed through local churches in Tigray. Click Here for more.

ISAAN TRAINING PROJECT
Tri Point has actively been involved in providing training funds through our missionaries Steve & Amie in Thailand. The Project supports efforts to train lay leaders in the planting of hundreds of disciple making churches among their own people. The goal is to see a Disciple Making Movement, where churches are spontaneously planting other churches.
Isaan, in East Asia, has over 20 million people, and is the poorest region in their primary country of Thailand.
Welcome to Isaan, land of the sticky rice eating people; where kick boxing, chicken fighting and folk music are king. This is the home of the fun loving Isaan who will open their arms to you, a stranger, with laughter, fermented fish sauce dishes and a shot of rice whiskey.
There are many spiritual forces at work: dark magic including curses and spells; animistic Buddhism including ancestor worship, spirit doctors, fortune telling, and the worship of territorial spirits.
Yet God loves and wants to shine His light into the dark parts and redeem the positive things about Isaan culture, such as: love of music and traditional dance, sharing the work load in the village, and caring for family even when it means personal sacrifice.
Please pray for workers like Steve & Amie who bring hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus sets people free from false gods.

TURKEY
Past Project:
Middle East - TURKEY
Turkey, with 80,000 million predominantly Muslim people, has an influx of Syrian and other refugees (4 million), deadly political turmoil, and few missionaries.
Turkey abounds in Christian history, from foreign temples in the book of Acts to the Seven Churches in Revelation. Christianity appears to lie in the ruins, but God has a remnant. For three Sundays, we will be raising funds to support “BEYOND” in their work to train Turkish believers in Disciple Making Movements (DMM), with expectation of seeing churches multiplied in this strategic country.
Please pray for TURKEY:
¨ For trainers and mentors of Turkish believers
¨ For divine appointments between seekers and those with the Truth.
¨ For seekers to be willing to study God’s Stories with their families and neighbors.
¨ That believers will be bold in sharing their faith, despite persecution or loss of family and friends.
¨ Safety and provision for refugees.
¨ For multiplying Bible Study groups in refugee camps.
¨ That missionaries AND Turkish believers will be obedient disciples
¨ That Tri Point can send a generous financial gift to support Turkish believers being trained to multiply discipleship groups throughout Turkey.
DONATIONS:
Please use an envelope or online giving labeled: TURKEY,
and make checks to Tri Point Church of God 2018. www.beyond.org/give/

HORN OF AFRICA
Past Project:
Our Missions Fund Raiser in May yielded over $4,000 toward Disciple Making Movement training for women in the Horn of Africa.
“Greetings to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus! Thank you for your effort that you showed to us in the work of empowering women by DMM. Within the last three months we gave DMM training for about 50 women, and God used these women to plant 12 churches, bring 218 people to Christ, and baptize 104 people. Out of these new comers, 60 were from Islam. Your effort is not in vain - it brings big things in the Kingdom of God.” ~Tsedash, Women’s Coordinator, Ethiopia DMM
“We thank God for His provision for His work and thank you for your love and commitment in standing with us as we ignite, accelerate and sustain the Disciple Making Movement among women in our region.”
~Aychi, Regional Leader for Horn of Africa DMM
